It's important to understand that cognitive health issues occur on a spectrum, and that there are many potential factors that may be involved. If you are worried about your cognitive health, Mindr may be right for you.
Mindr is designed for people who have concerns about their cognitive health. You may be experiencing one of the following:
At-Risk, Worried Well: Perhaps there is a history of dementia in your family, or your life has been touched by a loved one with a dementia diagnosis. While you may not be experiencing any noticeable changes yourself, you identify as at-risk and wish to be more proactive in your own cognitive health.
Subjective Cognitive Decline: Self-reported experience of worsening or more frequent confusion or memory loss. This is not necessarily a clinical diagnosis. However, you recognize that you are not functioning like you used to.
Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI): This is a formal diagnosis. MCI is characterized by early stage memory loss or other cognitive ability loss. You still maintain the ability to independently perform most activities of daily living, but your tests show cognitive decline.
Early Stage Dementia: Dementia typically progresses in stages. Mindr can be used by people who are in the early stages of dementia and who are able to navigate a simple computer program or app on their own or with the help of a caregiver.
